Contributor pay is visible

You see the rate the person doing the work is paid, on every engagement, before it starts. It is a line on the quote, not a share of a blended number.

One rate card, not one per customer

The same work costs the same whoever is buying. What differs is scope, locale scarcity and turnaround — all of which are on the quote.

Your cloud if you want it

Work can run in your bucket and your enclave, pinned to the region agreed at kickoff. We keep no copy you have not authorised.

Nothing ships without its quality numbers

Every batch carries the QA-sample accuracy, WER and agreement it was produced at. If they are low, you see that too.

Why is there no price list?
Because the same line — an hour of speech, an episode of egocentric video — costs a different amount in a scarce locale, at a deeper annotation level, or on a two-week turnaround. A list would either mislead you or carry so many footnotes it stops being a list. The quote lists every assumption instead, and comes back within 48 hours.
What moves the number up or down?
Four things, and none of them is who you are: how scarce the locale is, how deep the annotation goes, how fast you need it, and whether you want exclusivity or a pinned region. For embodied data, add the rig and the environment access. Each one is on the quote.
Can we start small?
Yes. A benchmark run for one sector, or a pilot batch — five percent of a collection or ten to thirty episodes — is the smallest engagement, and it is the cheapest way to find out whether the spec is right. If the spec was wrong, the re-run is on us.
What does a usable hour mean?
Audio that passed QA — no clipping, consent on file, and a transcript at the agreed standard. Rejected material is not billed to you, and it is still paid at a reduced rate to the contributor if the fault was ours.
Who owns the data?
You get a perpetual, non-exclusive licence for internal model development and evaluation on delivery. Exclusive terms exist and are priced on the order form. Contributor consent covers that use and is recorded on the file.
Do you resell the same dataset to others?
Not on commissioned work. Where a set is licensed rather than commissioned, it is marked as such in the quote.
